B.Sc Project 2009: Determination of antimicrobial and phytochemical properties of Tricholoma magnivelare mushroom on Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
My PhD focusses on the investigation of the role of sialdases in modulation of the innate immune response in epithelial cells of the gingiva. In addition i am interested in the development and testing of novel sialdase inhibitors that might be used to treat periodontal disease- a condition affecting over 700m people globally.
