Current research

My PhD focusses on the investigation of the role of sialdases in modulation of the innate immune response in epithelial cells of the gingiva. In addition i am interested in the development and testing of novel sialdase inhibitors that might be used to treat periodontal disease- a condition affecting over 700m people globally.

Research articles accepted and reviewed in international journals
